Day 01

We leave Huaraz to go to the Quilcayhuanca Ravine, from there we will walk through a big valley until reaching the Cayesh crossing. Then, we are going to deviate to the south side until reaching an altitude of 4,250 meters where we will camp. This walk will last about 5 or 6 hours.

Day 02

This day, we leave at 3:00 AM to go to the top of the Maparaju Mountain at an altitude of 5,326 meters. In the top of the mountain we can see an amazing panorama of the Mountain Cayesh, San Juan, Huantsan, Huapi, Chinchay and part of the passage of Conchucos. After enjoying the wonderful passage we will descend for about 5 hours to the camp.

Day 03

We will descend about 5 hours through the same route to go to Quillcayhuanca, there the transport awaits us to return to Huaraz.

To Take Into Account:
  • The date of the expedition must be booked with 50% of the total amount.
  • Once the deposit is done you will be able to cancel your participation 15 days before with a recharge of 50% for administrative expenses, otherwise a reimbursement will be impossible.
  • In case of absence o arriving later than the agreed time, there will be no reimbursement.
  • The itinerary may vary a bit, depending on the external conditions such as rain,constructing paths and similars.
  • In case of accidents the enterprise does not take responsability for medical expenses but it will take care of transport to the nearest hospital.
  • To have full acces to medical services and rescue helicopter it is necessary to have international insurance for accidents during sports.
