DAY 01:

We leave Huaraz at 5:00 AM to go by private transport to Chiquian and then to Llamac at 3,250 MAMSL. Later, we are going to walk about 4 hours to Jahuacocha. Once there, we will have dinner and rest for the next day climbing.

DAY 02:

Departure to moraine field of Yerupaja at 4,800 MAMSL, from where we can appreciate the beauty of the Jahuacocha Lagoon and the majesty of the Mountains Yerupaja, Jirishanca, Rondoy and Rasac. This walk will last about 4 hours. Dinner and rest.

DAY 03:

We leave moraine field at 9:00 AM to walk about 4 hours to Campo Alto at 5,100 MAMSL. There we will have dinner and rest.

DAY 04:

Day to rest and analyze the west face of the mountain for the next day climb to the summit.

DAY 05:

We leave Campo alto at 10:00 PM to climb to the summit of the Yerupaja Mountain, this climb takes between 15 and 23 hours. From the summit we can see the beauty of the Mountains Silua Grande, Rondoy, Jirishanca, Ninashanca and the Huayhuash Mountain Range. Later, the eight hour descent to Campo Alto by rappels begins. Once there, we will have dinner and rest for the next day.

DAY 06:

Return to Jahuacocha, there we will have dinner and rest.

DAY 07:

Return to the city of Huaraz.

DAY 08:

Reserved day in case of bad weather conditions, disease or accident.

DAY 09:

Reserved day in case of bad weather conditions, disease or accident.

To Take Into Account:
  • The date of the expedition must be booked with 50% of the total amount.
  • Once the deposit is done you will be able to cancel your participation 15 days before with a recharge of 50% for administrative expenses, otherwise a reimbursement will be impossible.
  • In case of absence o arriving later than the agreed time, there will be no reimbursement.
  • The itinerary may vary a bit, depending on the external conditions such as rain,constructing paths and similars.
  • In case of accidents the enterprise does not take responsability for medical expenses but it will take care of transport to the nearest hospital.
  • To have full acces to medical services and rescue helicopter it is necessary to have international insurance for accidents during sports.
